Terms of sale

These terms apply to purchases of Shard packs and, once it launches, the Index+ subscription, made through this website from Schematic Index, founded by Fudgedy1 & SubwayWraps. Index+ is not yet on sale; its section applies from launch.

What you buy

Shard packs add the stated number of Shards, plus any shown bonus, to the Minecraft account named at checkout. The checkout shows the player head and exact username Mojang found. Check it is the account you mean before you pay: Shards go to whoever holds that username when you pay, stay with that account if its name changes later, and cannot be moved afterwards. Shards and everything bought with them work only inside The Schematic Index mod for Minecraft: Java Edition running on Fabric, on the game versions the current mod release supports (listed on the Modrinth page). They do not work in Bedrock Edition, in other mods or launchers, or on servers that block the mod, and cosmetics are only visible to other players who also run the mod. You need the free mod, a Minecraft: Java Edition account and an internet connection. Index+ is a monthly subscription that renews until cancelled and grants the perks listed on the store page while active.

How ordering works

Choose a pack, enter the Minecraft username and an email address, check the player head and UUID shown match the account you mean, tick the delivery box and press Continue to payment. Stripe's page then shows the final amount; your order is placed when you press Pay there, and the contract is made when we send you the receipt email. We keep a record of the order; the receipt email and the receipt page are your copy. The contract is in English.

Prices and tax

Prices are shown in GBP, EUR or USD before you pay. The price shown is the full amount you pay, including any tax that applies; nothing is added at checkout. Prices are set in GBP. The EUR and USD prices are fixed prices based on the GBP one, not a live exchange rate, so they may not match your bank's rate exactly. Prices can change; the price shown at checkout is the one you pay. Discount codes apply once per Minecraft account unless the code says otherwise, and only one code can be used on an order. We can withdraw or change a code before you use it; a code applied at checkout before you paid still counts for that order. We limit each Minecraft account to about £50 of Shards a day.

Delivery

Shards are credited as soon as Stripe tells us the payment has cleared, usually within a minute. Some payment methods take longer to clear; the receipt page shows the order's status and checks with Stripe each time you open it. To see them, open the mod in Minecraft and click the Shards button in the top right; close and reopen that panel if they are not there yet. By law you would normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. When you tick the box at checkout you ask us to deliver straight away and give up that 14 days, so once the Shards are in the account the order cannot be cancelled. If the account named at checkout has never opened the mod, the Shards are held for it and credited the first time it does.

All sales are final

You asked for the Shards to be delivered straight away when you ticked the box at checkout, so once they are in the account the purchase cannot be cancelled or refunded. Final means you cannot change your mind. It does not mean you go without if something goes wrong on our side. If the Shards you paid for never arrived, open a ticket in the Discord with your order id; we check the order against our records and, if they were not credited, add them or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. Nothing here takes away the rights the law gives you if what you bought is faulty or never delivered.

Subscriptions (Index+, not on sale yet)

Index+ renews each month on the date you subscribed. Cancel any time by opening a ticket in the Discord; perks stay active until the end of the paid period and months already started are not refunded. Shards already credited from the subscription stay in your account.

If your bank reverses a payment

If you have a problem with an order, tell us first; a ticket with the order id is faster than a bank dispute. If you dispute a payment with your bank, the Shards from that order are removed while the dispute is open and put back if it is decided in our favour. If a payment is reversed and the Shards were already spent, the balance can go below zero until it is earned back through daily rewards and quests. Fraudulent or unjustified disputes can get the account suspended.

Age

If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to make the purchase for you. They should be the one entering the card details, and they should know that Shard purchases cannot be refunded once the Shards are in the account.

Complaints

Open a ticket in the Discord; we aim to reply within five working days. If you do not use Discord, reply to your receipt email and it will reach us. We are not signed up to an independent complaints service (an alternative dispute resolution scheme), so we will try to sort things out with you directly. If we cannot, we will tell you so in writing and name a certified scheme, though we are not obliged to use it. You can also take a claim to court.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or outside the UK you also keep the consumer protections of where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
